Arnot Health will conduct a series of vaccination clinics for H1N1. Please call Health on Demand at 607-737-4499 to register for the vaccination. The clinics are open to the public (19 and older only) and free of charge.  To expedite the vaccination process, participants are asked to wear a loose fitting shirt or a short-sleeved shirt under the appropriate winter attire.

New York Health Commissioner Dr. Richard Daines is concerned that the lighter-than-expected wave of swine flu that has hit will lull New York residents into a false sense of security that could be swiftly wiped out by another round of flu later this year. New York is still among 11 states that has widespread flu outbreaks - meaning more than half of the state's counties are reporting cases. Another wave of flu could hit this winter or spring, Daines said.
