Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term Care will once again be sponsoring energy savings workshops in the months of January, February, and March.
The workshop, entitled ‘Save Energy, Save Dollars’, provides information on low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy and reduce energy bills as well as information on programs which can help qualifying households afford energy-efficiency improvements with subsidies, low interest loans or no-cost services. All program participants will receive a kit of energy savings items. The workshops will be held on the following days:

Workshop will be held at The Senior Center, 550 E. Church St., Elmira
Tuesday, February 2nd 1pm -3pm

Workshop will be held at the North County Senior Center Broad St. School, Horseheads.

The workshops will be conducted by Cornell Cooperative Extension as part of the EmPower New York Program, a component of the HeatSmart NY initiative. HeatSmart NY workshops are sponsored by the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term Care.
The workshops are FUN, FREE, and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Bring a friend!
