Chemung– The Chemung County Department of Public Works in association with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will hold a public information meeting to discuss a proposed bridge replacement project for the CR 60 Bridge over Dry Brook, in the town of Chemung, Chemung County.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Chemung Elementary School Cafeteria, 71 North Street, Chemung, NY 14825.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public, local businesses and elected officials with information regarding the project objectives and to give everyone an opportunity to provide input on the proposed project. Chemung County and NYSDOT personnel will be available to answer questions and to discuss the design process associated with this project.

The project objective is to replace the deficient bridge structure.  Construction is expected to get underway in the Spring of 2013.
